If you’re running a growing business, hiring a marketing manager or bringing in an agency can feel like the natural next step.
But here’s the problem: unless you’re clear on the strategy, you’re just adding resources without direction.
That’s when costs spiral, activity stalls, and frustration sets in.
Here’s what I see often:
- A talented team, but no time, plan or accountability
- An agency pumping out content but not tying it to results
- Sales teams are doing their own thing because what is marketing anyway!
- Lots of work. Not much traction.
What’s missing? Strategic leadership.
Here’s a better way:
Start by setting the direction.
- What are we trying to achieve?
- Who are we talking to and what do they care about?
- What tools, materials, and support do the team actually need?
- What’s worth investing in and what’s just noise?
Once the path is clear, then bring in the right people to deliver, whether that’s a coordinator, a freelancer, or a trusted network (like mine).
If you’re in that in-between stage needing structure, but not ready for a full team, I can help bridge that gap. Strategically, practically, and without the overhead.
